Colourful, independent, and only an hour’s drive from London, Whitstable in Kent is brimming with beautiful views, world famous seafood and narrow alleyways begging to be explored.

No place demonstrates Whitstable’s quirky nature more than Harbour Street, a winding array of shops, cafés, and restaurants.

The town is broken up by curiously named alleyways, like Squeezegut Alley, with hidden gems waiting to be discovered by anyone who ventures down them.

A nod to Whitstable’s smuggling history, most of these alleyways lead directly to the sea, serving as a great shortcut whenever you want to make your way to the beautiful coast, grab yourself some oysters or just walk along the front.
